We woke up at 3:45am this morning to catch our flight to Puerto Rico. After a three and a half hour flight, we arrived in Puerto Rico. It was 88 degrees and sunny! The warm sun felt incredible on my pale, winter skin. I was happy to leave the snow, ice and cold weather behind. Elena, one of my good friends who lives in Puerto Rico, was kind enough to pick us up from the airport. She dropped us of at our home for the week, the Hilton Caribe Hotel. Because check in wasn't for another couple hours, we spent the rest of the day relaxing by the pool, swimming in the ocean and soaking up the sun! When we were finally able to check in to our rooms, we all were pleasantly surprised. The hotel had upgraded us to the KING'S SUITE! Upon entering the room, the five of us were jumping around like school girls. We couldn't believe it. True to it's name, it was fit for royalty. Later that night we met up with Elena for sangria and tapas in the heart of San Juan. The first day was amazing, I can't wait for what else is in store.
